I migliori auguri di buon Natale ed un felice anno nuovo!

(and thank you for your blog!)

    • Caro Antonio, grazie per i complimenti! Anche noi vi auguriamo un buon Natale et un felico anno 2013! Siamo curiosi se l’elezione nationale cambierá le positione d’Italia verso il brevetto unitario. Auguri, Falk

  2. Antonio Pizzoli says:

Curiously, our (now former) Prime Minister Mario Monti is one of the fathers of the Community Patent, so Italy’s position could have already changed in 2012.

Anyway, I believe that the position of at least one of the other 25 MS will change in 2013.

  3. Antonio Pizzoli says:

Poland is the main suspect, since its Parliament recently raised concerns about the unitary patent, but I do not exclude surprises when the shares of the renewal fees will be discussed. In this respect, see e.g. Statement 17503/12 ADD01 REV01 by the participating MS , having “the aim of allowing all participating Member States to keep their current renewal fee income while at the same time ensuring that those Member States which currently have a low renewal fee income will significantly increase this income.”
